The Maryland Federation of Art believes that art builds bridges between people, ideas and perceptions.
MFA activities seek to inspire a love of artistic expression. Many organizations help others create art to enhance their education and lives. MFA brings that art to the community.
Art Camp at the Stanton Community Center
Summer 2010, Summer 2011, Summer 2012
Children are naturally creative, and MFA wants to encourage creativity and artistic expression in artists of all ages. For the past two summers, MFA artists have run free art classes for children at the Stanton Community Center in Annapolis teaching a variety of artistic techniques and media, exposing children to art in the community and exhibiting art created by the children for the public in a gallery setting. MFA Scavenger Hunt
With a goal to inspire life long appreciation of art, MFA artists have prepared Scavenger Hunts to help children explore aspects of artistic expression and technique when visiting Circle Gallery.

Artistic Expression
MFA hosts exhibitions that bring to the public the work of artists whose public exhibition opportunities are limited. Past collaborations have exhibited art from artists at Arundel Lodge - serving adults with mental illness; Hospice Cup – a fundraiser for five area Hospice groups; Providence Center – serving adults with developmental delays, and the Thomas J. Waxter Center – a juvenile detention center for girls.
